Commons of Castle Hills

In June 2003, the Mayor and City Council voted to designate the land on Lemonwood (between the municipal building and the fire station) as a common area. This site was named the Commons of Castle Hills, an area to be utilized by the residents of Castle Hills. A committee was appointed to establish initial planning and development to include a walking path around the perimeter, benches and drought tolerant landscaping.

Many events are held at the Commons every year to include: Movie Night, Christmas Tree Lighting, Easter Egg Hunt, Snow Day, and Back to School Picnic with the Mayor.
